Naturally, CLMBR need a digital experience that matched the caliber of their machines.
Making mountains from movement using real-time sensor data.
Our team worked closely with the creative team and engineers at CLMBR to develop a real-time animation for displaying a climber's workout data. This animation used real-time data from the CLMBR machine to create a 3D topographic map with rings animating in based on your tempo, varying in size and color based on a users reach and power.
This animation not only provided climbers a unique and fun way to visually track their workouts, but it also provided captivating viral content to share post-workout, generating beautiful topographic mountains for every climb. This generated social engagement for CLMBR as users shared their unique “mountains”.
